We are inspired by traveling, self-expression, leather fringe, and nostalgic rock n’ roll. We design and create leather goods that have multi-functional wear and stand the test of time. Longevity and self expression is key.

To maintain Bird Trouble’s values in sustainability and supporting artisans, our leather products are manufactured in a small batch and a made-to-order fashion by Bird Trouble’s founder in her Bull Valley, IL home workshop and our two partnering USA artisan-led manufacturers. We are not fast fashion. Our goods are sold in limited quantities direct-to-consumer and through exclusive small business retailers.

Designing, creating, sharing, and carving my own path have been major constants throughout my life. When I was a kid, I told everyone I would become an artist. Throughout my youth, I was eager to be an entrepreneur. This job is my literal dream come true and I feel the artisan drive and passion for work in my blood. The growth Bird Trouble and our family experiences is made possible through the purchases from our customers and our bond with the community we’ve built.
