Introducing Custom Dylan Convertible Duffel

My customer Shaina reached out requesting an order with a few changes to the Dylan Convertible Duffel design and I just wrapped up the project with enough time to photograph it today. I’m so excited about how this one turned out. I wanted to share it in a blog post to gauge interest from others before I consider adding it to the Design Your Own collection!

It really is an amazing size at 16.5” wide, 10 1/2” tall, and 7.5” deep. The suitcase handle slide is top notch for traveling. Shaina’s specific bag had a large laptop pocket inside with another small 8” x 6” slip pocket on top of it. On the exterior of the bag, there is 2 gusset slip pockets with incredible detailing and there’s 1 snap pocket on the front. Shaina wanted this bag to have criss cross hand-stitching soooo I spoiled this design with a lot of it.

After drafting the pattern, I realized this bag could still work as a convertible. I felt that it wasn’t TOO wide to not make it a backpack / crossbody… the more functionality, the better, right?
